How office chairs have changed

If I showed you an office chair designed fifty years ago, and asked you to sit on it and try working at your desk for let"s say, and hour, you would certainly tell me you would not like to use anything as uncomfortable and impractical on a daily basis. Well, half a century ago, people actually believed that such chairs were real luxury. It"s true that furniture companies have designed and invented a lot more ergonomic items that are now not only more comfortable, but also healthier. Office chairs from the past actually caused a lot of pain when you used them for a longer period of time. This is why so many people in our society suffer form joint diseases and lower back pain. Do you know that in cultures where people sit one the floor more, for example in Asia or Africa, cases of lower back pain are really rare? But western furniture designers finally found a solution for that. You don"t have to sit on the carpet in your office. In fact, you can use one of those new smart office chairs that are much more ergonomic than those old-fashioned ones. They provide enough support not only for your back, but also for other parts of your body. Your hips and your knees will benefit from this, too. As you can see, our designers find more and more ways to provide us with safe working conditions. This type of furniture may be a bit expensive at first, but soon it becomes available to an average customer.
